Meet Aiden

I think it was September of 2015, my mom Carmen, son Aiden (11 years old) and I walked into a little shop in Portland that claimed to be able to get my son, who had suffered from intractable seizures since 2008 (age 3), a medical marijuana card.  We did in fact obtain a card that day, we quickly found out that was the easy part! The hard part was finding a dispensary that didn’t suggest my 11-year-old smoke or vape high THC marijuana to help with his seizures. Feeling very frustrated and discouraged, I had no idea what to do with this card Aiden had been given.  How was it going to help us? We went months without using anything except his pharmaceuticals, more seizures, more helplessness, and more problems. Then one day I was on Facebook, I had friended every group I could find that had to do with seizures, when I came across TJ’s. I immediately googled it, called all the numbers I could find, and got to talk to Tanesha, she was so nice!  Understood my frustrations and comforted me in ways no one had been able to do, since Aiden started having seizures. She got it and she wanted to help!

Aiden has been using TJ’s oils since 2016!  He has been able to drop 4 pharmaceutical drugs since starting the oils!  His behavior is better, his quality of life is better – we unfortunately still have seizures on occasion, but I can’t imagine where we might be without the help of TJ’s!   

I would like to THANK TJ’s with all my heart for all they have done!  Aiden and I are so lucky to be apart of such an amazing program and can’t wait to see what the future holds!
